Te Awa River Ride
One of the Trust's key projects is the development of Te Awa: The Great New Zealand River Ride. The concept is to create a shared cycle/walkway that travels 70 kms along the banks of the Waikato River, from Ngaruawahia in the North to Horahora in the South where it will meet the Waikato River Trail.

Brian Perry Classic
The inaugural Brian Perry Classic was held in March 2010. The tournament is the largest pro-am golf tournament in New Zealand and second largest professional tournament with a prize pool of $100,000.00. The 2010 event attracted over 50 amateur teams from around the country.

The Adastra Foundation
The Adastra Foundation provides awards and mentoring support to talented young athletes and musicians. Nearly 200 awards have been awarded since the Foundation’s inception in 2007 and multiple mentoring workshops have been offered on topics such as media relations, public speaking and sponsorship.

Perry Outdoor Education Trust
The Perry Outdoor Education Trust (POET) was created in 2003 to offer outdoor education programmes to low-decile schools.The programme is designed as a spiraling pathway of learning throughout a student’s secondary schooling. POET has proven hugely successful and is now offered in 7 schools nationally.

Perry Scholarships
In 1999, the Perry Trustees gifted the University of Waikato $100,000.00 for a scholarship endowment fund. Eight years later, three new scholarships were established for students at WINTEC in Engineering, Sport and Exercise Science and Motorsport. 2009 saw the addition of the Peggy Perry Memorial Aviation Scholarship.

The Lion Foundation
The Brian Perry Charitable Trust plays an important role in the distribution of grant funds to the Waikato / Bay of Plenty region, holding the majority of seats on The Lion Foundation's local grants committee. This fund sees almost $12m of community funding returned to worthwhile community organisations.

Victoria on the River
Hamilton City Council and the Brian Perry Charitable Trust entered into a strategic land agreement to provide better access to the Waikato River from the southern end of Victoria Street. The Trust gifted a portion of riverside land to the Council to develop a public plaza overlooking the river.
